The object of the method is the determination of the best possible correlation for electric recordings obtained in a borehole with seismic recordings obtained in a volume of subsoil containing the bore. The aim is to obtain the best possible keying of the borehole in the seismic block. In order to do this, the method defines in a neighbourhood of the trajectory of the bore a set of layered networks the entries of which are the seismic signals and the exits are the electric signals and it awards a quality measure to their convergence. The best convergence quality then permits the determination of the best place in the neighbourhood which produces the best keying.
