A system (10) for generating a rail yard switch list (e.g., 30) of switch positioning activities for efficient movement of a railyard operator (12). The system includes a first operator control unit (14) (OCU) having a locator (16) for determining a location of the OCU and an associated operator using the OCU during rail yard switching activities. The system also includes a first processor (28) for correlating the rail yard switching activities with a respective location of the OCU in the rail yard to establish a knowledge base of respective preferred locations in the rail yard, and a memory (e.g. 26) for storing the knowledge base of preferred locations in the railyard. The system further includes a second processor (27) for receiving a request (32) for a switch list, accessing the memory, and processing the request based on the knowledge base to generate a switch list.
L'invention concerne un système (10) destiné à générer une liste de manoeuvre en triage (p. ex. 30) d'activités de positionnement de l'aiguillage pour un déplacement efficace d'un opérateur en triage (12). Ce système comprend une première unité de commande d'opérateur (14) (OCU) pourvue d'un localisateur (16) destiné à déterminer une position de l'OCU et d'un opérateur associé utilisant cette OCU au cours d'activités de manoeuvre en triage. Ce système comprend également un premier processeur (28), destiné à mettre en corrélation les activités de manoeuvre en triage avec une position respective de l'OCU dans le triage afin d'établir une base de connaissances de positions respectives préférées dans ce triage, et une mémoire (p. ex. 26) prévue pour stocker la base de connaissances de positions préférées dans le triage. Ledit système comprend en outre un second processeur (27) prévu pour recevoir une demande (32) de liste de manoeuvre, accéder à la mémoire et traiter la demande à partir de la base de connaissances pour générer une liste de manoeuvre.
