A plurality of movable objects as aircraft are provided with GPS receivers, enabling the individual determination of longi- tude and latitude. Further, the receiver will also give a very precise time. According to the invention, this precise time is used to enable all objects of the plurality to transmit in a predetermined radio frequency their identities and positions in precisely deter- mined time blocks. By allocating the frequencies in VHF or UHF, the range of receivability is limited, such that the system may be worldwide. Transmissions may be received by all the participants as well as by air traffic monitoring centers at ground.
