A leash assembly comprises a body with a handle (6) and a cord (11) which has an end captive in the body. The assembly includes means whereby the tension in the cord can be caused automatically to increase and decrease repetitively causing a shudder in the cord. Optionally, a noise may accompany the change in tension in the cord. The leash will be attached in use to a collar or harness worn, for example, by a dog and the shudder is used to assist in training the animal.

L'invention concerne un assemblage de laisse comprenant un corps muni d'une poignée (6) et une corde (11) présentant une extrémité emprisonnée dans le corps. L'assemblage comprend des moyens faisant que la corde se trouve automatiquement sous tension après allongement et raccourcissement répétitifs provoquant des vibrations dans la corde. Un bruit peut éventuellement accompagner le changement de tension de la corde. La laisse est attachée à un collier ou à un harnais porté, par exemple, par un chien et on utilise la vibration comme aide au dressage de l'animal.
