An ionised active principle solution is impregnated into a layer (2) forming part of a container (1). The amount of active principle contained in the layer may be determined by measuring the conductivity of said layer. The measuring device includes (a) first (7) and second (10) electrodes arranged on either side of and in electrical contact with at least one portion of the impregnated material layer (2) in the container; (b) a component (5) for causing a flow of electric current having a predetermined strength through the impregnated material; and (c) a component (6) for sensing the voltage (V) between the electrodes (7, 10) and calculating the amount of active principle in the container.

Une solution de principe actif, sous forme ionisée, imprègne une couche (2) for- mant partie du réservoir (1). On tire une mesure de la quantité de principe actif contenu dans cette couche d'une mesure de la conduc- tivité de cette couche. Le dispositif de mesure comprend: a) des première (7) et deuxième (10) électrodes placées de part et d'autre et en contact électrique avec au moins une partie de la couche (2) du matériau imprégné du réservoir, b) des moyens (5) pour faire passer le courant électrique d'intensité prédéterminée dans le matériau imprégné et c) des moyens (6) sensibles à la tension (V) relevée entre les électrodes (7, 10) pour calculer la quantité de principe actif contenu dans le réservoir.
