Cette invention concerne un procédé de sélection de souches bactériennes non pathogènes capables de se fixer sur les sites récepteurs d'adhésion tissulaire de souches bactériennes pathogènes, comprenant les étapes consistant à: a) mettre en contact in vitro lesdits récepteurs avec une souche bactérienne à tester; b) ajouter un anticorps dirigé contre lesdits récepteurs, ledit anticorps étant éventuellement marqué de manière détectable; c) dans le cas où ledit anticorps n'est pas lui-même marqué de manière détectable, ajouter un agent de détection de l'anticorps; d) détecter la présence du complexe formé par ledit anticorps et lesdits récepteurs.
