The invention relates to a sensor system for monitoring synchronous operation of control surfaces (3) of an aircraft, comprising two transmission sections (1, 2) for mechanically transmitting the movements of one or more control surfaces to at least one sensor (4). The two transmission sections are coupled to each other in a mechanical fashion and/or by means of the at least one sensor such that a difference between the movements transmitted by the transmission sections can be monitored.
