The invention relates to a retaining element (1) for protecting a product (2) from theft. Said retaining element (1) comprises a first retaining area (3), in particular, for fastening the retaining element (1) to a fastening element (4) and comprises at least one second retaining element (5), in particular, for fastening the retaining element (1) to the product (2). The second retaining area (5) is designed so that it can be deformed more easily than the first retaining area (3) whereby enabling the retaining element (1) to be optimally adapted to the shape of the product (2). In addition, the retaining element (1) can be placed on the product (2) by means of a double-sided adhesive tape. This adhesive tape is designed so that it can be stretched.

L'invention concerne un élément de retenue (1) permettant de protéger un objet (2) du vol. Ledit élément de retenue (1) présente une première zone de retenue (3), notamment pour fixer ledit élément de retenue (1) sur un élément de fixation (4) et au moins une autre zone de retenue (5), notamment pour fixer l'élément de retenue (1) sur l'objet (2) concerné. La seconde zone de retenue (5) se présente de manière à être plus facilement déformée que la première zone de retenue (3), de sorte que l'élément de retenue (1) puisse être adapté de manière optimale à la forme dudit objet (2). L'élément de retenue (1) peut en outre être monté sur l'objet (2) à l'aide d'une bande adhésive double face, ladite bande adhésive étant conçue extensible.
