The invention concerns a gas burner-type combustion device called burner (B) spraying a mixture of air and ignited gas in a pipe outlet, characterized in that it is equipped with a mobile diffusing cone (200) whereof the top (210) is arranged at least upstream of the flame-generating zone to ensure explosion of the air mixture with the gas, the relative displacement of the cone (200) along an axis of diffusion defined by the flames enabling the power of the latter to be adjusted. The invention also concerns a method for operating said device for use in thermal weed control.
L'invention concerne un dispositif à combustion du type brûleur à gaz dit "brûleur" (B) projetant un mélange d'air et de gaz enflammé en sortie d'une conduite, remarquable en ce qu'il est équipé d'un cône mobile de diffusion (200) dont le sommet (210) est disposé au moins en amont du lieu de création des flammes pour assurer l'éclatement du mélange d'air avec le gaz, le déplacement relatif du cône (200) selon l'axe de diffusion défini par les flammes permettant le réglage de la puissance de ces dernières. L'invention concerne également un procédé de travail du dispositif précité dans le cadre d'une application liée au désherbage thermique.
