The dry blends comprise a powdery or finely-divided active ingredient such as a pharmaceutical, dietary supplement, agricultural chemical, water-treating agent or biocidal agent, and a micronized synthetic polyolefin-based hydrocarbon wax and/or a micronized sythetic polyfluorocarbon wax that is compatible with the active ingredient. Shape-retentive compacted compositions are formed by pressure compacting such blends. Preferred active ingredients are 1,3-dihalo-5,5-dialkylhydantoins and profen pharmaceuticals such as naproxen.
L'invention concerne des mélanges secs comprenant un ingrédient actif pulvérulent ou finement divisé, tel qu'un produit pharmaceutique, un supplément diététique, un produit chimique agricole, un agent de traitement des eaux ou un agent biocide, et une cire d'hydrocarbure à base de polyoléfine synthétique micronisée et/ou une cire de polyfluorocarbure synthétique micronisée compatible avec l'ingrédient actif. Le compactage par pression de ces mélanges permet de former des compositions compactées à mémoire de forme. Les ingrédients actifs préférés sont des 1,3-dihalo-5,5-dialkylhydantoïnes et d'autres produits pharmaceutiques à base de profène, tel que le naproxen.
