A window display means comprising a support (12) adapted to be mounted adjacent an edge of a window (11), said support (12) accommodating a first screen (16) which is extendable from a first position at which it is accommodated by the support (12) and an extended position at which it extends at least partially across the window (11) adjacent the inner face of the window (11), said support (12) accommodating a second screen (17) which is extendable from a first position at which it is accommodated by the support (12) and an extended position at which it extends at least partially across the window (11) to the rear of the first screen (16), a drive means (25) for causing the extension and retraction of said screens, said second screen (17) being substantially opaque and said first screen (16) being at least partially light transmissive.
