Systems and methods are provided that securely deliver digital content to wireless network-enabled devices. Such digital content can be tailored, by the content owner, to the preferences of an owner of a wireless device. Systems and methods are also provided for managing the rights of the digital content so that the content owner can regulate the use and distribution of the content even after the content is delivered. A number of caller alerts are also provided such that, for example, a user of a wireless device can be alerted of an incoming call during playback of downloaded media.
