The invention is a pair of multi-function kneepads adapted for use on inclined roofs. Each kneepad is comprised of a wedge of expanded polystyrene or similar lightweight material capable of supporting the user's weight. The acute dihedral angle of each wedge is approximately equal to the pitch angle of the roof on which the kneepads are being used, thereby providing a substantially horizontal upper kneeling surface when the wedge is oriented towards the roof's peak. Each wedge's lower surface is typically affixed to a soft rubber pad that prevents premature abrasion of the polystyrene wedge and improves grip onto the roof's inclined surface. Each wedge's upper surface typically includes a soft foam layer that serves as an ergonomic kneeling pad for the user. An attachment harness secures the kneepads to the front of the worker's kneecaps and shins. The attachment harness may also be configured for securing the kneepads to the soles of the user's feet, thereby improving comfort in the standing posture.
