A foldable box and lid combination can be cut from a single rectangular blank with minimal wastage, and can be set-up into a useable configuration which exhibits an integral lid portion which can be moved between a lowermost position in which it appears to form a tight-fitting lid embracing the upper edge of the box, and an uppermost position in which panels which had formed the top surface of the lid are now stretched out and moved away from the centre, thus allowing the box to release or accept its contents.
