The invention relates to a system for mo- bile communication, comprising a mobile station (1) and a communication domain (A) with at least one base station, which communication domain (A) overlaps, at least in part, another communication domain (B) in a certain area (C), as a result of which tere are available to the mobile station (1), in the said area (C), a plurality of communication domains (A, B). The system is arranged for select- ing, on the basis of a preference list, an available communication domain. According to the inven- tion, the system supports a plurality of services, a separate preference list being provided for each user and for each service supported. Preferably, the se- lection takes place antomatically and is periodically checked.

Système mobile de communications comportant une station mobile (1) et un domaine de communications (A) comprenant au moins une station de base et recouvrant, au moins partiellement, un autre domaine de communication (B) dans une aire donnée (C) d'où il résulte que, dans ladite aire (C), la station mobile (1) dispose de plusieurs domaines de communication (A, B). Le système est aménagé por sélectionner, sur la base d'une liste de préférences, l'un des domaines de communication disponibles. Selon cette invention, le système assure plusieurs services, une liste séparée de préférences étant fournie à chaque usager pour chacun des services offerts. La sélection, qui se fait de préférence automatiquement, est l'objet de contrôles périodiques.
