A self-destructing hypodermic syringe (1) comprising an optionally graduated barrel (2) having a Luer lock-tip (3) in one end and a plunger head (5) with plunger rod (3), of the type which has a breaking element (4) incorporated in connection with the plunger head or plunger rod, and where the breaking element (4) is broken when the syringe (1) is used for the first time, wherein the breaking element (4), is cast in one piece with the plunger rod (3) and initially, prior to destruction, is secured thereto via diametrically arranged cam follower hoops (6) and lugs (7) which, when loaded, are broken at perforations (7') while converting the lugs (7) to cam followers (7).

L'invention a trait à une seringue hypodermique autodestructrice (1) constituée d'un cylindre (2), éventuellement gradué, pourvu d'un embout Luer (3) sur l'une de ses extrémités et d'une tête de piston (5) monté sur une tige support de piston (3), du type comportant un élément à rupture (4), solidaire de la tête ou de la tige support de piston. Cet élément (4), qui se rompt lors de la première utilisation de la seringue (1), est moulé d'une seule pièce avec la tige support de piston (3) et, à l'origine, avant de se briser, lui est rattaché par l'intermédiaire de colliers (6) de suiveurs de came, placés sur un plan radial, et de pattes (7) qui, une fois sollicitées se brisent au niveau de perforations (7'), ce qui a pour effet de transformer celles-ci (7) en suiveurs de came (7).
