The invention concerns an applicator comprising a sleeve (5) wherein the needle (2) is stretched in an elongated position, a rod (13) penetrating into the sleeve (5) for extracting said needle and retaining means (17) for maintaining the rod (13), before the needle (2) is extracted, inside the sleeve (5) in a predetermined position such that the rod free end rests against the needle (2).
