An apparatus far coupling instruments and/or implants including A) a male connector (4); B) a hollow coupling shank (3) for receiving said male connector (4), C) the male connector (4) having a flats (11) about its periphery and the bore (20) comprising n inner wall surfaces (21) corresponding thereto so that the male connector (4) can be received in the bore (20) in a no-play engagement resistant to twisting; D) the male connector (4) comprising radially flexible arms (19) and at least one radially protruding latch linger (17); E) the arms (19) being radially compressible to such as extent that the male connector (4) is insertable into the bore (20); F) the at least one latch finger (17) being capable of engaging with a recess (27) when the male connector (4) is is an inserted condition so that the male connector (4) may be axially blocked within the hollow coupling shank (3); and G) the latch finger (19) and the recess (27) having a form which allows the arms (19) to be radially compressible when a tensile force of the amount X is applied on the male connector (4).
L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant d'accoupler des instruments et/ou des implants, qui comprend : A) un tourillon d'assemblage (4) ; B), une douille (3) pour recevoir le tourillon d'assemblage (4) ; C) ledit tourillon d'assemblage (4) présentant en périphérie n surfaces (11) et l'alésage (20) correspondant comprenant n surfaces intérieures (21), de sorte que le tourillon d'assemblage (4) puisse être logé dans l'alésage (20) sans jeu et bloqué en rotation ; D) le tourillon d'assemblage (4) comprend des languettes (19) à effet ressort dans le sens radial et au moins une came (17) en saillie dans le sens radial ; E) les languettes (19) peuvent être comprimées dans le sens radial, jusqu'à ce que le tourillon d'assemblage (4) puisse être introduit dans l'alésage (20) ; F) lorsque le tourillon d'assemblage (4) est introduit, la came (17) (au moins au nombre de une) peut être encliquetée dans une contre-dépouille, de manière que le tourillon (4) puisse être bloqué dans le sens axial dans la douille (3) ; et F) la came (17) et la contre-dépouille (27) se présentent de manière que lorsqu'une force de traction de valeur X agit sur le tourillon d'assemblage (4), les languettes (19) puissent être comprimées dans le sens radial.
