Soaking compositions are disclosed which comprise a sorbitan ester in combination with a dianionic cleaning agent and/or an alkoxylated dianionic cleaning agent. Said compositions are diluted in water to form soaking liquors. In its broadest embodiment the present invention relates to a process of soaking fabrics, wherein said fabrics are immersed in a soaking liquor comprising water and an effective amount of a composition comprising such a dianionic cleaning agent and/or an alkoxylated dianionic cleaning agent, for more than 1 hour, then removed from said soaking liquor. The invention is particularly effective in removing particulate soils like silt and clay from fabrics as well as enzymatic stains.
L'invention concerne des compositions de trempage comprenant un ester de sorbitanne combiné à un agent nettoyant dianionique et/ou un agent nettoyant dianionique alcoxylé. Lesdites compositions sont diluées dans l'eau de sorte que des liqueurs de trempage soient formées. Dans le mode de réalisation le plus large, l'invention se rapporte à un procédé de trempage de tissus, qui consiste à immerger ces derniers dans une liqueur de trempage comprenant de l'eau et une dose efficace d'une composition constituée dudit agent nettoyant dianionique et/ou dudit agent nettoyant dianionique alcoxylé, pendant plus d'une heure, puis à les retirer de ladite liqueur de trempage. Les compositions de l'invention sont particulièrement efficaces pour la suppression de salissures particulaires telles que le silt et l'argile sur des tissus ainsi que des taches enzymatiques.
