High performance media suitable for recording with a blue laser is disclosed. The blue-sensitized holographic media provides greater dynamic range and higher sensitivity than previously disclosed blue-sensitized holographic media. These media can be used for diverse applications such as data storage where the articles provide denser data storage and more rapid hologram writing times or for optical waveguides where the articles provide greater optical confinement and more rapid manufacturing times.

L'invention concerne des supports à haute performance appropriés pour réaliser un enregistrement avec un laser bleu. Par rapport aux supports holographiques sensibles à la lumière bleue précédemment décrits, la dynamique des supports est plus grande et leur sensibilité est plus élevée. Ces supports peuvent être utilisés dans diverses applications, comme le stockage de données, les articles obtenus des supports possédant une capacité de stockage plus dense et des temps d'écriture plus rapides. Ou encore, les supports sont destinés à des guides d'onde optiques, les articles obtenus produisant un plus grand confinement optique et pouvant être fabriqués plus rapidement.
