A welded joint for metal pipes is provided with an inner lining, which is resistant to damage caused by the fluids flowing through them. The pipes are machined in the inside at the areas next to the ends to be joined, forming an undercut at each end. A spacer ring is inserted in the hollow annular space formed by both undercuts. The outer diameter of the spacer ring is substantially equal to the diameter of the corresponding undercuts, and its axial length is substantially equal or less than the sum of the axial lengths of the undercuts of the pipes to be joined. The spacer ring is made of an outer annular layer of a high thermal conductivity metal and at least one inner annular layer of heat-insulating and heat resistant material. The outer annular layer abuts in heat conducting contact with the metal pipes within said undercuts, and the metal pipes are joined by a weld seam.
Joint soudé pour tuyaux métalliques doté d'un revêtement intérieur résistant aux dommages causés par les fluides qui s'y écoulent. L'intérieur des tuyaux est usiné au niveau des extrémités à raccorder de façon à pratiquer un dégagement à chaque extrémité. Une bague d'écartement s'insère dans l'espace annulaire creux formé par les deux dégagements. Le diamètre extérieur de la bague d'écartement est pratiquement égal au diamètre des dégagements correspondants et sa longueur axiale est essentiellement égale ou inférieure à la somme des longueurs axiales des dégagements des tuyaux à raccorder. La bague d'écartement est faite d'une couche annulaire extérieure d'un métal à conductivité thermique élevée et d'au moins une couche annulaire intérieure d'un matériau calorifuge et résistant à la chaleur. La couche annulaire extérieure conduit la chaleur par contact avec les dégagements pratiqués dans les tuyaux métalliques, et les tuyaux sont raccordés par un joint de soudure.
