A method and system estimate, in real time, the amount of any delay in departure of an aircraft flight from an airport. Various embodiments include receiving in a first computer process a conditions input that includes at least one member of a set including departure airport conditions, arrival airport conditions, and fleet conditions; and estimating in a second computer process the amount of delay based on the conditions input. User interfaces and data structures are also provided.

Cette invention concerne une méthode et un système qui permettent d'estimer, en temps réel, l'importance du retard au décollage d'un avion. Selon divers modes de réalisation, cette démarche consiste premièrement à recevoir informatiquement un premier état de conditions comprenant au moins un élément d'un ensemble englobant les conditions de départ, les conditions d'arrivée et les conditions de la flotte; et deuxièmement à estimer au terme d'un second processus informatique l'ampleur du retard à partir du premier état des conditions. L'invention concerne également des interfaces utilisateur et des structures de données.
