The present invention relates to improved methods for protein purification of high-value heterologous proteins by providing fusion proteins suitable for affinity purification and improved and economical methods of proteolytic cleavage of fusion proteins. The methods are useful for large-scale production of purified recombinant proteins from plants, plant-derived tissue or plant cells. The invention aims to reduce the cost and improve the quality of downstream processing of heterologous proteins produced in plants and other biological production systems.
La présente invention concerne des méthodes améliorées de purification de protéines hétérologues de grande valeur au moyen de protéines hybrides convenant pour une purification par affinité, ainsi que des méthodes améliorées et économiques de clivage protéolytique de protéines hybrides. Ces méthodes conviennent bien pour la production à grande échelle de protéines de recombinaison purifiées tirées de plantes, de tissus dérivés de plantes et de cellules végétales. Le but de cette invention est de réduire le coût et d'améliorer la qualité du traitement en aval de protéines hétérologues produites dans des plantes et autres systèmes de génération biologique.
