A pressure reducing assembly for high pressure oil wells is disclosed. The assembly includes a metallic body having inlet and outlet channels that are lined with ceramic inserts. The assembly may also include a removable pressure reducing device that is preferably formed of a ceramic material. Pipe spool pieces associated with the pressure reducing assembly transition the narrow interior flow diameter of the assembly to the larger interior flow diameter of downstream oil process piping. The spool pieces have metallic bodies, with flow channels that are lined with ceramic inserts. The ceramic inserts are disposed within the metallic spool, and are preferably designed with a flow channel taper that gradually increase the interior flow diameter from that of the outlet channel of the pressure reducing assembly to that of the process piping. The use of the ceramic inserts and liners in the pressure reducing assembly provides a method for increasing the operating life of the flow control components of high pressure oil wells.

La présente invention concerne un ensemble détendeur pour des puits de pétrole à haute pression. L'ensemble comporte un corps métallique dont les canaux d'entrée et de sortie sont chemisés d'éléments rapportés en céramique. L'ensemble peut également comporter un dispositif détendeur réalisé de préférence en céramique. La transition entre le petit diamètre intérieur de l'ensemble et le diamètre intérieur plus grand des tubes de l'aval est réalisée au moyen de manchons associés à l'ensemble détendeur. Le corps métallique de ces manchons définit un canal intérieur chemisé d'éléments rapportés en céramique. Ces éléments rapportés en céramique, qui sont disposés à l'intérieur du manchon métallique, sont de préférence conçus de façon à former un évasement du canal intérieur permettant de passer progressivement du diamètre du canal de sortie de l'ensemble détendeur au diamètre des tubes de l'aval. Le recours aux éléments rapportés et aux chemises en céramiques dans l'ensemble détendeur permet ainsi d'augmenter la durée de vie des composants de régulation de débit des puits de pétrole à haute pression.
