The invention relates to a material comprising a porous material, a host compound, such as water, and one or more lower hydrocarbons serving as gust compound wherein a novel and beneficial hydrate-like matter of the lower hydrocarbons are formed inside the fine pores of the porous material, a method of preparing same, and a method of utilizing same. The material can be used as gas-stored solid fuel. The invention is applicable to a method of supplying citygas, a method of controlling a feed of city gas, a city gas tank for supplying city gas or controlling a feed of city gas, a portable and replaceable fuel gas tank, a fuel gas tank for automobile, and the like by utilizing the formation action of the material containing the hydrate-like matter of lower hydrocarbons inside the fine pores of the porous material and the separation and release action of the lower hydrocarbons from the material.

Le matériau peut être utilisé comme combustible solide dans lequel du gaz est stocké. L'invention vise également une méthode d'approvisionnement en gaz de ville; une méthode de régulation de l'alimentation en gaz de ville; un réservoir de gaz de ville utilisé pour l'alimentation en gaz de ville ou la régulation de l'alimentation en gaz; un réservoir portatif et remplaçable de gaz combustible; un réservoir de gaz carburant pour automobile et autres en utilisant le processus de formation de matériel contenant le pseudo-hydrate d'hydrocarbures inférieurs à l'intérieur des pores fines du matériau poreux et le processus de séparation et de libération des hydrocarbures inférieurs contenus dans le matériau.
