This invention features apparatus and kits for treating an area of vascular bifurcation where a principal conduit (2) separates into at least two secondary conduits (3), the apparatus having at least a first segment that has, in a predetermined fully expanded state, a substantially conical shape and a first end (6) having a greater diameter than a second end (5); the first end conforming to an increasing cross section of the principal conduit in the direction of at least one secondary conduit, and the apparatus being shaped to be independent of any other surgical apparatuses when the apparatus is in a predetermined fully expanded state.
La présente invention concerne un appareil et des nécessaires destinés au traitement d'une zone d'une bifurcation vasculaire où un conduit principal (2) se sépare en au moins deux conduits secondaires (3). L'appareil comporte au moins un premier segment qui, dans un état déterminé de déploiement complet, présente une forme sensiblement conique, et une première extrémité (6) de diamètre supérieur à celui d'une deuxième extrémité (5). La première extrémité épouse, en coupe, la forme du conduit principal croissant en direction du conduit secondaire considéré. Enfin, la forme de l'appareil est conçue pour qu'il puisse être indépendant de tous autres appareils chirurgicaux une fois qu'il est dans un état déterminé de déploiement complet.
