Library of compounds or their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, each compound being associated with information on its chemical identity and structure, wherein at least two of the compounds is labelled with radioisotope characterised in that the radioisotope is an AMS active radioisotope; a solid support having a compound or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt as hereindefined bound thereto, the compound being associated with information on its chemical identity and structure and comprising a radioisotope, characterised in that the radioisotope is an AMS active radioisotope as hereinbefore defined; process for the preparation of a library of compounds as claimed in any of Claims 1 to 19 comprising radioisotope labelling a plurality of compounds, each compound being associated with information on its chemical identity and structure characterised in that labelling is with an AMS active radioisotope; a kit therefor; Method for selecting one or more candidate compounds comprising screening a library of the invention comprising AMS active radioisotope labelled compounds as hereinbefore defined and obtaining a sample from the screen or submitting a compound identified for metabolic studies and obtaining a sample therefrom, and performing, AMS detection of the sample; and use of the library, a solid support comprising radioisotope labelled compound or a method as hereinbefore defined in (bio)medical, agrochemical, environmental and like screening for further study by AMS detection.
L'invention concerne une banque de composés ou de sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables, chaque composé étant associé à des informations sur son identité et sa structure chimiques, au moins deux de ces composés étant marqués au moyen d'un radio-isotope se caractérisant en ce qu'il est un radio-isotope actif SMA. L'invention concerne également un support solide auquel est lié un composé ou un de ses sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables tels que définis dans l'invention, ledit composé étant associé à des informations sur son identité et sa structure chimiques, ce composé contenant un radio-isotope se caractérisant en ce qu'il est un radio-isotope actif SMA tel que précédemment défini. L'invention concerne encore un procédé de préparation d'une banque de composés, telle que définie dans les Revendications 1 à 9. Ce procédé consiste à marquer une pluralité de composés au moyen d'un radio-isotope, chaque composé étant associé à des informations sur son identité et sa structure chimiques, ledit procédé se caractérisant en ce que le marquage est réalisé au moyen d'un radio-isotope actif SMA. L'invention concerne également un kit, ainsi qu'un procédé de sélection d'au moins un composé candidat. Ledit procédé consiste à cribler la banque contenant des composés marqués au moyen d'un radio-isotope actif SMA, tels que précédemment définis, et à prélever un échantillon à partir de ce criblage ou à soumettre un composé identifié à des études métaboliques, et à prélever un échantillon de ce composé et à effectuer une détection SMA dudit échantillon. L'invention concerne enfin l'utilisation de la banque de composés ; un support solide comportant un composé marqué au moyen du radio-isotope ; ou un procédé de criblage (bio)médical, agrochimique, environnemental, etc, afin de poursuivre la recherche par détection SMA.
