ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus to prevent the overfilling of a storage bin with granular matter consisting of a body and a clamp for securing the body adjacent to a top opening of a storage bin. An arm is provided having a first end and a second end. The first end is pivotally mounted to the body. A paddle is secured to the second end of the arm. A switch is secured to the body. The switch is activated by movement of the arm. The switch is adapted to be coupled with associated apparatus, such as an auger. Granular matter filling the bin exerts a force upon the arm causing the arm to pivot whereby the switch turns off the auger. A pivotal connected is provided int he body for adjusting the attitude of the arm to suit the settling characteristics of differing types of granular matter.
