L'invention concerne un système d'échange de données, par microondes, entre une station fixe et une station mobile, ou badge portable. A l'état de veille, le débit d'informations est limité par la faible consommation du badge, et la haute impédance de sortie du modem. Pour augmenter le débit d'informations du modem (3) d'un badge (1), le circuit de traitement de l'information (4) associé au modem (3) envoie un signal de réveil au modem (3) pour diminuer son impédance de sortie. Les moyens mis en oeuvre sont des transistors (27, 28, 34) qui commutent la charge du transistor détecteur (11) ou du transistor amplificateur (31).
