A method and a shelter arrangement for temporary covering of an open deck space (1) on a watercraft. Said open deck space (1) is provided with a shelter arrangement comprising a flexible protective covering (5), which is tightened in a first direction by means of a plurality of supports (4), which may be gathered side by side for storing and moved in a second direction, principally perpendicular with respect to the supports (4), to be placed at a distance from one another for setting up the shelter arrangement in order to cover said open deck space (1). The ends of the supports (4) are provided with a guiding arm (10), which determines the mutual distance between the supports (4), when the shelter arrangement is in its outspread position, and pushes the supports (4) located ahead of it into the collapsed position of the shelter arrangement, when the shelter arrangement is being packed together.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un abri qui permettent de couvrir provisoirement un espace de pont découvert (1) sur un bateau. Cet espace de pont découvert (1) est équipé d'un abri comprenant une couverture protectrice (5), qui est resserrée dans une première direction au moyen d'une pluralité de supports (4) susceptibles d'être assemblés côte à côte à des fins de stockage et qui est déplacée dans une seconde direction, principalement perpendiculaire par rapport aux supports (4), de façon que les supports soient placés à une certaine distance les uns des autres afin d'installer l'abri et de couvrir l'espace de pont découvert (1). Les extrémités des supports (4) sont pourvues d'un bras de guidage (10), qui détermine la distance mutuelle entre les supports (4), lorsque l'abri est en position déployée et pousse les supports (4) situés devant lui vers la position repliée de l'abri, lorsque ce dernier est plié.
