Described herein is the synthesis of alkylated and fluoroalkylated semi- synthetic glycosaminoglycosan ethers, re-ferred to herein as "SAGEs." The synthesis of sulfated alkylated and fluoroalkylated SAGEs is also described. The compounds de-scribed herein are useful in a number of applications including wound healing, drug delivery, and the treatment of a number of in-flammatory diseases and skin disorders.
Linvention concerne la synthèse déthers de glycoaminoglycosan semi-synthétiques alkylés et fluoroalkylés, désignés ici comme « SAGE ». La synthèse de SAGE alkylés sulfatés et fluoroalkylés est également décrite. Les composés décrits ici sont utiles dans un certain nombre dapplications comprenant la cicatrisation de plaie, ladministration de médicament et le traitement dun certain nombre de maladies inflammatoires et daffections cutanées.
