A method of making programming changes using plain text requests. A requestor can request a programming change in plain text and the software program converts the plain text to programming code. The method includes steps of: (1) receiving a plain text request for a programming change; (2) verifying that the requestor is authorized to request the change; (3) interpreting the request; and (4) making the requested change. The software may send a confirmation to the requestor before and/or after the programming change. If the confirmation is sent before the change, the software waits for a reply from the user instructing it to proceed with the change.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'effectuer des modifications de programmation à l'aide de demandes sous forme de texte en clair. Selon l'invention, un demandeur peut demander un changement de programmation sous forme de texte en clair, le texte en clair étant ensuite converti par le programme logiciel en code de programmation. Ce procédé consiste (1) à recevoir une demande de modification de programmation sous forme de texte en clair, (2) à vérifier que le demandeur est autorisé à demander ladite modification, (3) à interpréter la demande, et (4) à effectuer la modification demandée. Le logiciel peut envoyer une demande de confirmation au demandeur avant et/ou après la modification de programmation. Si ladite demande de confirmation est envoyée avant la modification, le logiciel attend la réponse de l'utilisateur avant de procéder (ou non) à ladite modification.
