A drive control system (10) for conveyor (34) utilizes a dynamic chain pull calculation program (12) that is integrated with a PLC (16), which communicates to a plurality of controllers (20,22,24). The controllers in turn automatically adjust their associated drive motors (26,28,30) so as to maximize efficiency at moving material on a conveyor system (34). Sensing devices (32) provide continuous load parameters to a PLC that in turn, processes the data and adjusts the system's operation based upon desired conditions.

L'invention concerne un système de commande d'entraînement (10) de transporteur (34), mettant en AEuvre un programme de calcul de traction de chaîne dynamique (12) intégré dans un automate programmable (16), qui communique avec une pluralité d'unités de commande (20, 22, 24). Ces unités de commande règlent automatiquement à leur tour le moteur d'entraînement (26, 28, 30) qui leur est associé, de sorte à augmenter au maximum l'efficacité de déplacement de matériau sur un système de transporteur (34). Des dispositifs de détection (32) fournissent des paramètres de charge continue à l'automate programmable qui traite, à son tour, les données et règle le fonctionnement du système en fonction de conditions souhaitées.
