A label applicator system transfers labels from a web to items (5) moving on a rotary item transport. The applicator system includes a supply (3) for supplying the web with the labels thereon and a take-up (4) for taking up the web after transfer of the label from the web to the item. The supply and take-up are vertically oriented. The applicator includes a movable label applicator head (10). A rotary table (13) moves the items along a path defined by rotation of the table and rotates the items relative to an axis of the items. The label applicator head is movable toward and away from the item and the item is rotated to apply the label to the item as it moves passed the applicator head.
L'invention porte sur un système applicateur d'étiquettes qui transfère des étiquettes d'une bande à des articles (5) se déplaçant sur un transport d'articles rotatif. Le système applicateur comprend une alimentation (3) pour distribuer la bande avec les étiquettes sur celle-ci et un dispositif denroulement (4) pour reprendre la bande après transfert de l'étiquette de la bande à l'article. L'alimentation et le dispositif denroulement sont verticalement orientés. L'applicateur comprend une tête applicatrice d'étiquette mobile (10). Une table rotative (13) déplace les articles le long d'un trajet défini par la rotation de la table et fait tourner les articles par rapport à un axe des articles. La tête applicatrice d'étiquette est mobile vers l'article et à l'opposé de celui-ci et l'article est amené à tourner pour appliquer l'étiquette à l'article à mesure qu'il se déplace devant la tête applicatrice.
