ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A folding table comprising a base portion and a top portion. The base portion has two flat parallel, transversal upstanding partitions and two upstanding lateral walls. Each of the partitions has the same height and about the same width as the walls. The transversal partitions are hingedly connected to the lateral walls along their contiguous vertical edges and the lateral walls are vertically subdivided in two panels hingedly connected along their contiguous vertical edges. The panels are adapted to be folded inwardly between the transversal partitions in a flat and parallel relationship with the latter. The top portion is substantially flat and has a groove in its lower face defining a contour corresponding to the two parallel transversal partitions and to the panels partly inwardly folded. The groove has a width corresponding to the thickness of the partitions for holding the partitions along their upper edges and for maintaining the base portion along the contour of the groove.
