The invention concerns a scleral expanding segment consisting of an arc-shaped band designed to be arranged on the sclera perpendicular to the ciliary body. Said band free ends have a spatulate shape larger than said bridge (3) diameter so as to constitute large support legs (1, 2).

L'invention concerne un segment d'expansion sclérale du type constitué par un jonc arqué destiné à être disposé sur la sclère à l'aplomb du corps ciliaire. Les extrémités libres dudit jonc sont d'une forme spatulée plus large que le diamètre dudit pont (3) de manière à constituer de larges pieds d'appui (1, 2).
