The invention relates to a method for operating a cross-flow filtration installation for a product. Said installation comprises a filtration module (6), a pipe (3) for supplying the product, a pipe (9) for removing the product, a pump (4) with an electric motor (12) for circulating the product and a regulator valve (5') for controlling the supply flow (Q1) of the pump (4). So as to enable the installation to deliver its maximum inherent filtration output when the product contains a high proportion of solid material without creating a risk to operating safety due to overload, the strength of the operating current (i1) of the electric motor (12) is measured. Said operating current (i1) is set at the maximum permitted value by controlling the supply flow (Q1) of the pump (4) by means of the regulator valve (5') via a control unit (20).
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de faire fonctionner une installation de filtration à courant transversal, pour un produit. Cette installation comprend un module de filtration (6), une conduite tubulaire (3) pour amener le produit, une conduite tubulaire (9) pour dériver ledit produit, une pompe (4) équipée d'un moteur électrique (12) pour faire circuler le produit et une soupape de régulation (5') pour ajuster le débit de refoulement de la pompe (4). Afin de permettre à l'installation d'avoir le rendement maximal possible qui lui est inhérent, tout en ayant une part solide élevée du produit, sans entraîner de risques pour la sécurité de fonctionnement, suite à des surcharges, l'intensité du courant de fonctionnement (i1) du moteur électrique est mesurée. Le courant de fonctionnement (i1) est réglé à une valeur maximale autorisée par la soupape de régulation, par ajustement du débit de refoulement (Q1) de la pompe (4), par l'intermédiaire d'un régulateur (20).
