A golf swing aid includes a base arrangement adaptable for turf or driving mat applications as well as additional features to assist a user in providing a consistent golf club swing path. The swing aid preferably includes a ball sight and a pivoting practice ball arrangement. A cantilevered support arm extends above and to one side of the base. A rearwardly extending guide member is supported by the support arm and is positionable to provide feedback of an improper swing path.
