A joining arrangement between a main tube (3) and a side arm (5) in a side arm stent graft (1). The side arm (5) is stitched into an aperture (11) in the main tube and is in fluid communication with it. The aperture is triangular, elliptical or rectangular and the side arm is cut off at an angle to leave an end portion having a circumferential length equal to the circumference of the aperture. The side arm can also include a connection socket (76) comprising a first resilient ring (79) around the arm at its end, a second resilient ring (80) spaced apart along the arm from the first ring and a zigzag resilient stent (82) between the first and second rings. The zigzag resilient stent can be a compression stent. Both the main tube and the side arm are formed from seamless tubular biocompatible graft material.
L'invention concerne un système d'assemblage entre un tube principal (3) et une branche latérale (5) dans un greffon (1) d'endoprothese à branche latérale. La branche latérale (5) est piquée dans une ouverture (11) pratiquée dans le tube principal et est en communication de fluide avec celui-ci. L'ouverture est triangulaire, elliptique ou rectangulaire, et la branche latérale est sectionnée obliquement, de manière à laisser une portion d'extrémité ayant une longueur circulaire égale à la circonférence de l'ouverture. La branche latérale peut également comprendre un raccord (76) comprenant une première bague élastique (79) autour de la branche, à son extrémité, une seconde bague élastique (80), à distance, le long de la branche, de la première bague et un stent élastique en zigzag (82) entre la première et la seconde bagues.
