The present invention provides compositions and methods for treating ocular neovascularization, angiogenesis, retinal edema, diabetic retinopathy, and/or retinal ischemia in order to prevent the loss of visual acuity associated with such conditions. More specifically, the present invention provides compositions containing receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) inhibitors having unique binding profiles and their use in treating ocular disorders.

La présente invention concerne des compositions et des procédés pour traiter une néovascularisation oculaire, une angiogenèse, un oedème rétinien, une rétinopathie diabétique et/ou une ischémie rétinienne, afin de prévenir la perte d'acuité visuelle associée à de tels troubles. Elle concerne plus spécifiquement des compositions contenant des inhibiteurs de récepteurs à activité tyrosine kinase (RTK) qui présentent des profils de liaison uniques, ainsi que leur utilisation pour traiter des troubles oculaires.
