A cover system for the truck box of a pickup truck includes upstanding side and front portion which define inwardly thereof an open area to be covered by a series of parallel edge to edge cover panels. The cover panels slide forwardly and rearwardly on a guide track and the guide track is divided at the front so that the panels form according folds in a fold section stored at the front of the structure. The rear side parts at the rear of the cover can be pivoted about a a horizontal axis across the top. These rear portions carry a part of the guide track and a whole number of panels fill the area from the hinge to the bottom edge of the rear portion. Thus the rear portion can be pivoted about the hinge while the panels flex. Thus only a rear portion can be opened or the cover panels can be moved forwardly to various set locations or folded fully.
L'invention concerne un système de couverture pour la caisse d'une fourgonnette. Il comprend des parties verticales latérales et frontales qui délimitent une aire intérieure ouverte à couvrir d'une série de panneaux de couverture parallèles installés bord à bord. Les panneaux de couverture coulissent vers l'avant et vers l'arrière dans un rail de guidage. Le rail de guidage est divisé à l'avant de manière que les panneaux forment des plis en accordéon dans une section se trouvant à l'avant de la structure. Ces parties latérales arrière, à l'arrière de la couverture, peuvent pivoter autour d'un axe horizontal traversant le dessus. Les parties arrières supportent une partie du rail de guidage et une série de panneaux remplissent l'aire comprise entre la charnière et le bord inférieur de la partie arrière. La partie arrière peut ainsi pivoter autour de la charnière pendant que les panneaux se plient. Il est donc possible de n'ouvrir que la partie arrière, d'amener les panneaux de couverture vers l'avant à des emplacements déterminés ou de les replier complètement.
