Synthetic and semisynthetic bodies having a three-dimensional structure, sized and shaped to resemble apoptotic cells and apoptotic bodies, and having phosphatidyl serine (PS) molecules on the surface thereof, are administered to a patient, to alleviate a variety of disorders such as T-cell mediated disorders (autoimmune conditions). The bodies are believed to trigger an apoptosis-like mechanism in the patient.

L'invention concerne des corps synthétiques et semi-synthétiques possédant une structure tridimensionnelle. Ces corps présentent une taille et une forme similaires à celles des cellules apoptotiques et des corps apoptotiques. Ils comportent en outre des molécules de phosphatidylsérine (PS) sur leur surface. Administrés à un patient, lesdits corps permettent d'atténuer une pluralité de troubles, tels que les troubles induits par les lymphocytes T (affections auto-immunes). On pense qu'ils déclenchent un mécanisme de type apoptotique chez le patient.
