Abstract of the Disclosure In the process of obtaining a nickel concentrate from a nickel magnesium silicate ore by leaching the ore with hydro- chloric acid to separate the gangue mainly consisting of silica and drying and roasting the leach, the drying and the roasting of the leach are effected separately, whereby a high grade of nickel concentrate can be obtained with 100% nickel recovery.
