A pipe coupling (1) for coupling together two pipes in a fluid-tight manner comprises a tubular casing, a tubular sealing gasket (30) located within the casing, and screws (17) for tensioning the casing around the gasket. The casing comprises an inner tubular casing (20) and an outer tubular casing (10), both of metal. A layer of fire-resistant thermally- insulating material (100) is disposed between the inner and outer casings (20, 10) to form a fire shield.

Cette invention concerne un raccord (1) destiné au raccordement étanche de deux tuyaux qui comporte une gaine tubulaire, un joint d'étanchéité tubulaire (30) disposé à l'intérieur de la gaine et des vis (17) conçues pour mettre en tension la gaine autour du joint d'étanchéité. Ladite gaine est constituée d'une gaine tubulaire interne (20) et d'une gaine tubulaire externe (10), toutes deux métalliques. Une couche de matière (100) isolante d'un point de vue thermique et résistante au feu est disposée entre lesdites gaines interne et externe (20 et 10) de manière à constituer un écran pare-feu.
