Device for reducing the wind resistance of the protective fabric, particularly of a parasol of the type mainly including a pole (1), a protective fabric (6) attached to the top of said pole, and a supporting frame generally including a plurality of stiff ribs (2) connected, via one end thereof and by means of a hinge (3), to the top portion of the pole, each rib being connected, by means of a connecting rod or brace (4) and hinges, to a socket or annular block (5) slideably mounted along said pole to enable the deployment of the fabric or the closing thereof along the latter, and characterized in that the fabric (6) freely rests on the ribs (2), at least on the distal portion (2b) of the latter, and in that a flexible slat (7) capable of elastic deformation in the vertical plane and connected to the fabric (6), at least in the distal portion thereof, is placed on the top side of each rib (2), in the vertical plane and along the latter, said flexible slats (7) being attached to the ribs (2) at a point remote from the distal end (2b) of the latter.
Dispositif permettant de réduire la prise au vent de la toile de protection, en particulier d'un parasol du genre comprenant principalement un mât (1), une toile de protection (6) rattachée au sommet de ce mât, et une armature de soutien de cette toile comprenant généralement une pluralité de baleines rigides (2) fixées, par l'intermédiaire de l'une de leurs extrémités et au moyen d'une articulation (3), à la partie supérieure du mât, chaque baleine étant, d'autre part, reliée, au moyen d'une biellette ou contrefiche (4) et d'articulations, à une douille ou noix annulaire (5) montée avec une aptitude de glissement le long dudit mât, de sorte à permettre le déploiement de la toile ou son rabattement le long de ce dernier, caractérisé en ce que la toile (6) repose librement sur les baleines (2), au moins sur la partie distale (2b) de ces dernières, et en ce qu'une latte flexible (7) dotée d'une capacité de déformation élastique dans le plan vertical et liée à la toile (6), au moins dans sa partie distale, est disposée sur le côté supérieur de chaque baleine (2), dans le plan vertical et le long de celle-ci, lesdites lattes flexibles (7) étant fixées sur les baleines (2) en un point éloigné de l'extrémité distale (2b') de ces dernières.
