The invention concerns the transmission of an independent executable code and/or associated data in a network. It consists in formatting a bitstream of the executable code C (step T2) and associated data D (step T3) of a mobile agent A before transforming them into a bitstream to be transmitted f¿A? (step 4). After standard digital processing operations at reception level, the node of the receiver N¿R? receiving said bitstream f¿A? retrieves the code C and the parameters D. The code C is independently executed then the code C and its execution context (associated parameters and resulting data) are once more transformed into a bitstream f¿A? transmitted to the next node (steps T1-T8). The final node recuperates the data D¿R? resulting from the execution of the code C on the nodes N of the path P.
L'invention concerne la transmission d'un code exécutable autonome et/ou des données associées dans un réseau. Elle comporte la mise sous forme de flux de bits du code exécutable C (étape T2) et des données associées D (étape T3) d'un agent mobile A avant de les transformer en un flux de bits à émettre fA (étape 4). Après les traitements numériques classiques en réception, le noeud récepteur NR recevant ce flux fA extrait le code C et les paramètres D. Le code C s'exécute de manière autonome puis le code C et son contexte d'exécution (paramètres associés et données résultantes) sont à nouveau transformés en un flux de bits fA transmis au noeud suivant (étapes T1-T8). Le noeud final récupère les données DR résultant de l'exécution du code C sur les noeuds N du parcours P.
