A B S T R A C T A bicycle braking device includes first and second spaced apart arms, each of which is adapted to accommodate front and rear brake cable housings of a bicycle, and expose a length of front and rear brake cable between same. A rigid member extends between said arms and maintains same in spaced apart relationship, while pivoting means extends from the rigid member between said arms and adapts to pivot between the arms. Guide means are deposed on the pivoting means, to accommodate front and rear brake cables, the front cable being located between the rigid member and the rear cable. Stop means are affixed to the front cable between the pivot means and the first arm, and to the rear cable between the pivot means and the second arm, whereby pressure applied to the rear cable causes the stop means affixed thereto to abut the guide means on the pivot means, and causes the pivot means to move in the direction of pull of the rear cable, thereby causing the guide means on the front cable to abut the stop means on the front cable and apply braking pressure on the front cable.
