An ignition switch arrangement for a gas ignition gun including a handle having a flame tube at one end, an ignition control switch mounted in the handle and operated to set on fire, the ignition control switch having a block and a notch at an inner end thereof, a stop key mounted in the handle and moved relative to the notch at the ignition control switch between a first position where the ignition control switch is stopped from operation by the stop key, and a second position where the ignition control switch is allowed to be depressed to set on fire, spring means mounted inside the handle to push the stop key from the second position to the first position, and a locking/unlocking control knob shifted between two positions to lock/unlock the ignition control switch.
