L'extrémité annulaire du premier tube porte une couronne de bras de contact glissant sur le premier contact en bout et comportant à leur extrémité un plot de contact d'arc et à proximité de ce dernier un bourrelet de contact permanent. Ainsi est réalisé un disjoncteur particulièrement résistant aux effets d'arc.
