The pet door scratch protector is used for protecting an area on a door from damage caused by the scratching of pets. A protective acrylic plastic panel that fits vertically under the door knob and goes all the way down to the base of the door or it can be placed horizontally at the desired height to where the pet does the most damage. This protective panel will prevent damage caused from pets which leap, scratch and chew at doors. The pet door scratch protector is rectangular in shape with an opening at the top center thereof, said opening large enough to accommodate a peg hole for hanging the product on a display shelf The protective panel comes in clear and/or assorted colors that will be aesthetically pleasing to the household door and the pet owners.
